Emergency Repair: what homeowners ask
My door is stuck open and it's 10 PM. What do I do right now?
Call us. If the door can be safely closed manually, we'll walk you through pulling the red release cord and lowering it — with a second person helping, and only if the springs are intact. If a spring is broken, do not attempt it; the door is unexpectedly heavy. We'll get a truck out or help you secure the opening for the night.
Do you charge extra just because it's urgent?
We charge a disclosed after-hours dispatch fee for evening, weekend, and holiday calls — you'll know the exact number on the phone before we dispatch. The repair itself costs the same as it would on a Tuesday afternoon. Parts prices never change based on your urgency.
How fast can you actually get here?
For emergency calls we prioritize by risk: stuck-open doors and trapped vehicles jump the queue. In central Macomb County, emergency response is often under 90 minutes; farther corners of our four-county area may take longer, and we'll tell you honestly on the phone.
