Can you really fix it the same day?
Usually, yes. Call before 2 PM and same-day service is available for most of Macomb and Oakland County. Our trucks carry the springs, cables, rollers, and hardware that fit the vast majority of doors in Southeast Michigan, so the first visit is typically the only visit.
Is it safe to keep using a door that's acting up?
It depends on the symptom. A noisy roller is annoying but usually safe for a few days. A door that's crooked, has a visible cable problem, or slammed shut on its own should not be operated at all — those are signs of a tension-system failure that can cause injury or damage the door further. When in doubt, leave it closed and call.
Do you charge a trip fee to come look at it?
Our service call fee is applied toward your repair — so if we do the work, the diagnosis effectively costs you nothing. If you decline the repair, you only pay the service call, and you keep the written quote.
